Questions
Do I need the app to apply?
No. Apply on this page. Once we've checked your licence you're listed straight away, and when you get the app you sign in with the same email to find your listing waiting.
What do you check?
Your current state wildlife licence or permit to catch and relocate snakes, and your public liability insurance. We only list catchers with a current licence. Insurance shows on your profile as checked once we've seen your certificate.
What counts as a callout?
A sighting in your service area that you mark in Coil as on the way, relocated or gone. Each sighting counts once. Sightings outside your area don't count, so the number reflects real jobs.
Why no star ratings?
Ratings can push people to rush a job or chase reviews, and snake work should be done carefully. We show what we've actually checked, plus your callouts, and let people see who's available and close.
How do people contact me?
They tap Call or Text on your listing or profile, which uses your own mobile number. You quote and charge them directly, the same as now.
What happens after the beta?
Listings move to the Catcher plan at $29.99 a month. Nothing is charged during the beta, and we'll email you well before anything changes. If you don't continue, your listing is simply hidden.
Can I pause my listing?
Yes. Set yourself busy in the app any time, with a note like Back at 6 pm, and you'll show lower in the list until you're available again.
